#1 Chicken Rice & Seafood in Houston

Having recently moved to Houston, I was looking food a quality hood Chinese carryout. Living in midtown, that's hard to come by but this spot is a quick drive down the road. I wouldn't say it in the hood but its close enough. As a D.C. native, chicken wings and fried rice are a staple. I dont consume it often but look forward to it as a treat. With all that said, this spot was underwhelming. I had a bad feeling when my order came up in less than a minute. The wings were warm but not fresh out the fryer and the rice was dry and needed 3 full soy sauce packets to be edible. Prices were fair. Came with a store bought dinner roll. No desire to go back and give it another try. My hunt continues.

My mom and I have been coming here for years !! Last night I decided to drop by around 6:30 pm and get dinner. There was no wait and service was very quick. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions that I had.I don’t recall ever getting a burger from here but I knew I was not in the mood for chicken. I got the double meat burger with fries and it was very good. The prices are decent and the food is often cooked in front of you.

Food always on point service always good I don't understand the bullet proof glass you shouldn't be scared of the community your making money from other than that it's all good and you get a lot for ya money
