I got take out for dinner. The one person doing take out orders was very overwhelmed. I called was on hold for 20 minutes and never did get through. I ended up just driving over placing my order... Very simple burrito and was there for another 20 minutes. The food was good although when I got back to my hotel room there were no utensils.

super excited to try it after seeing how many people wait to be seated and how full the parking lot always is. food took over 45 minutes to be given to us and it was given freezing cold. queso was the only thing worth it but i would still never spend $10 on a small bowl like that again. chips were warm but stale and the people working acted like they didn’t care at all!! definitely not worth the money or the wait. it would take me $10 to make what they charge $24 for and i could actually make it how it’s supposed to be made. when i called the manager about my food being cold she was kind and brought me new food but it was also freezing cold and we live literally down the road not even a mile away!

So sad that we don't have an Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant here in town. We visited the Amarillo, TX location & were blown away by the taste of our food! Our appetizer was the pork rinds & the trio of dips: OUTSTANDING QUESO! I ordered the Sea Bass (Barramundi) covered in a delicious sauce that included scallops AND shrimp. OMGosh, it was amazing! I had to go find a pic of their menu so I could share the name of my seafood dish. Definitely recommend this place!! 5 ☆ Restaurant, For Sure!!
