You wouldn’t think of a Sports Bar when you’re looking for a spot to have breakfast, but then you’ve probably never been to AJ’s… The breakfasts here are huge and tastyVery unassuming place from the outside, in a strip mall right off the main drag of Apache Trail- The place used to be called “Mirage” I believe, but the breakfast food is no less wonderful since the name and/or ownership changeThe chicken-fried steak and eggs is a favorite of mine, with a rich, satisfying gravy

I'd give 5 stars but... Really like the place and the food but just went this Friday 1/21/2022. CLOSED. Online showed open. I know a lot of restaurants are doing this because workers aren't showing. Don't know if this is the case and as a business owner really feel but the site should be updated daily. Really annoying. And STOP over-tipping everyone! Covid is done, these wait staff make huge $$$ now with hourly pay. I have never seen such an out of whack supply side disruption. Way too much money was dumped on the streets. And watch what happens when this corrects all the way to the other side.

Music went from Country to CCR to whitesnake...love it. Staff was super friendly, food was excent and the beer was cold. This might be my new favorite place!
