To clear up any rumors regarding the viral picture of the looter in La Mesa, he is NOT the son of the owner nor has he ever worked for Al Pancho's Mexican Restaurant. I am the daughter of the owner and also a former employee of at least 10 years. The terrible acts committed in the city of La Mesa and the individuals involved have absolutely no connection to the restaurant and Al Pancho's will continue to provide quality service and great food to the community. We value the community and are grateful for the other individuals who have spoken up to defend our family business and we hope to continue living up to the reputation that has taken 20 plus years to build.
