Outstanding location for thai food. nothing to complain about. i've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. the bill won't break you. makes me feel like i am back in sacramento.

Thai food... very satisfying. Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. There was quick and friendly service. Prices are appropriate.

My mother, daughter, and I walk into Alex's Thai Cuisine; a resturant located down in Shockoe bottom. Having ordered delivery from them pretty consistently in the past I know they don't close until 10pm so we decided to grab a bite. Walking in there's only this elderly gentelman sitting at the bar; nobody else. He walks up to us and, being polite, I ask if they're open; again knowing their hours and seeing the lit OPEN sign I know they are. Well this guy proceeds to tell us that no they are not open and then asks "Do you all know this is Thai food? Because you people don't usually eat our food".....WHAT! What does that even mean? I mean I know what he meant but really?
