Hands down, my favorite brewery in Knoxville. Great people, great vibe, great beer. The Kölsch (when available) is the best. Never had a bad beer. Also, Kate kicks ass.

Our brewery scene here in Knoxville keeps expanding exponentially. One of the forebearers of the craft beer scene is the one and only Alliance Brewing Company. They started a movement called Active Beer Culture. They encourage their attendees to be both physically active, and active within the scene. They do a great job of being a part of the scene themselves, partnering with many other local breweries. As for the beer, it's top notch. Adam and company really and truly know their stuff, love experimenting, and also coming up with beers that will please many the discerning palate. I tend towards the darker beers, and their porters are always crisp and fantastic! I also love their space, and the community the frequents the brewery. You have many places on the premises to enjoy your tasty brew. Be it at the bar, in the newish big room to the right, or, where I like to sit, out on the patio.
