Almanac Beer in Alameda

A friend at my gym gave me a hazy IPA from here- I really liked it, so we came to check it out. Lovely way to chillax- got here a bit after 12, easy parking across the street, chose an outdoor table half in shade & half sun. Our Friends were really happy it's dog & kiddies friendly. All our neighboring tables had friendly folks in them. We ordered really tasty burgers & fries from Scolari's truck & kids loved ice cream & donut truck. We also brought our own snacks & non alcoholic drinks too. Restroom was clean, staff were efficient & organized, hard Kombuchas & Hazy IPA's were a hit. 10 year anniversary brew was good too. Bought cans of our faves to take home. Wear sunblock, a hat- but also a jacket as it can get breezy. I'm also glad we brought some games & blocks to keep kids amused.

(got sunburned so badly) *Bring water to stay hydrated On the island of Alameda, in very spacious area, there's Almanac Beer Co. amongst a few other breweries and wine tasting rooms within walking distance! My first experience with Almanac was when they had their location in Mission district in SF, and I really enjoyed their beer! So I followed them to the East Bay a couple years later!
