Amazing food. Great service. I would recommend to make reservations prior going over there. I had the crab bisque...man that was delicious! And it is not crazy expensive. If you are in Beech Mountain, stop by!

Steve and the rest of The Alpen staff do an excellent job! They have great food and the best crab bisque I've ever had. This is Beech Mountain's premier "GO TO" restaurant.OTHER restaurants in Beech Mountain lack decent food quality, have rude staff and or are ridiculously priced (for what you get) PLUS as an added bonus ... OTHER Beech Mountain restaurants offer slow or nonexistent service.Save yourself some time and effort, go to The Alpen Restaurant & Bar. The OTHER restaurants in Beech Mountain simply aren't worth your time or dollars!
