I've been here about 10 times with large groups of people, everything anyone has ordered they have loved. You can tell the food is good when large groups talk less because they are so busy eating.

If you decide to come here, don't have high expectations for the food. If you just want to grab a beer without food, you can't go wrong. I'll explain further below. Finally tried this place after hearing about it from family and friends. Not impressed at all. The staff was friendly and attentive, which is the reason for 3 stars, but the food belonged in the dumpster. I ordered a hawaiian pizza, which tasted like they drove down the street to Albertson's and grabbed it out of the freezer section and popped it in the oven. The pineapple was almost tasteless, the sauce was nearly non-existent, and they didn't even bother to un-clump the little slices of ham. My wife ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, which tasted like microwaved Tyson chicken strips tossed in buffalo sauce with some lettuce and veggies thrown in. With that said, we did come about an hour from closing time. I think the chef was ready to go home and really didn't put any effort into our food. That's no excuse, though. If I'm paying $14 for a pizza, I expect it to be at least a LITTLE better than something like Domino's or Pizza Hut. It was not even close. We plan on giving it another shot and ordering different items. Maybe we just picked the two worst things on the menu, who knows.

We spent my husbands 60th birthday at the Alpine Tavern and Grill. The food was great, he tried a homemade brew and loved it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly as can be. Met a nice young man that was such nice company. I give it 5 stars, we for sure will be going back????
