Absolutely the best German food I have ever had. The weinerschnitzel is particularly good and the accompaniments on the plate make it a 5 star entree. All sausages are handmade on site and ooh lah lah....they are tasty! Excellent alcohol selection to please every thirst at the table. Service is great and prices are very reasonable, especially for a meal of this caliber. A must visit in Pioneer Sqaure. I'll *definitely* be back! Thanks for a GREAT dining experience!

After being out and about near pioneer square, my plus one and I was looking for a near by beer place and found Altstadt Bierhalle & Brathaust. It was during a weekday night, so we were the only few ones in. Our server was very attentive and greeted us and seated us right upon arrival. He was very friendly and made our late night experience wonderful. We ordered couple of beers and also ordered the pomme fries. The fries were not crunchy, but it was meant to be that way. So all you crunchy frie eaters, you may skip it if its not your thing! The aioli sauce was excellent and you can never go wrong. I am a big Tabasco sauce person, so when I asked for it, the server suggested and gave me their house hot sauce called the "jaeger sauce" instead. Not bad, but not my thing. Especially if I knew that this tiny sauce was going to cost me 4 dollars, I would have definitely skipped it. The server did not warn us about the extra cost. Overall, Altstadt Bierhalle & Brathaus experience and I would be back to try the pretzels like everyone here raves about. But other than that, I could definitely find better pubs elsewhere.
