Exciting is not a word to describe Amalfi’s. Loud, crowded, adequate service, and food that is well-cooked but lacks anything to make it memorable over other similar restaurants. Not an experience one would expect when paying for fine dining. The ambiance was more like a crowded bar or family gathering place where you can’t have a conversation because of the din. If you are looking for a neighborhood eatery where frequent diners get preferred service, Amalfi’s is your place. If you are looking for an intimate experience to celebrate something special or just have a conversation, Amalfi’s will disappoint.
