Amazing Food Co in Seattle

We ordered during the record Seattle heatwave and could not be happier with the food. We were getting pretty sick of pizza, burgers, etc. takeout so this was a great change of pace. It was amazing restaurant quality food that we could eat in the comfort of our home. We ordered Garlic Baguette, Marsala Chicken, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, Creamy Mushroom Madeira, Amazing Caesar Salad, Grilled Asparagus, Golden Beet Salad for 4 adults and 1 toddler. We had a few bites of leftovers of most of the dishes for lunch the next day. The chicken in both dishes was perfectly cooked and all the hot dishes were HOT, something that doesn't happen a lot with takeout. They are located in the KBM Seattle Commissary Kitchen and we can't wait to try others in the building and go back to Amazing Food!

We got the Marsala chicken, asparagus side, beet salad, polenta, and shrimp and steak. It was all quite good! Marsala chicken was the best, with lots of mushrooms and sauce over delicious potatoes. Pros: - good food, convenient, ease of pickup in an area without a ton of restaurant options, steak was a bit over "medium" but overall I was very impressed with takeout steak still being pink and tender inside, shrimp wasn't over cooked (as it often is with takeout food) Cons - polenta had too much butter and richness for me, and I found it pricy for takeout, personally. It would be a great price for a restaurant, but won't make it into frequent takeout rotation because $80 (incl tax and tip) for 3 people to get takeo...

In the middle of a pandemic, I could always count on Amazing Food Co. to serve me fresh food. The location is in the middle of construction but that's West Seattle for you! I typically order for pickup and they will bring the food to you. I have tried the chicken (SO MOIST and SAVORY), the shrimp salad (SO REFRESHING) and their beignets (the perfect dessert)... Everything tasted fresh by the time I got home. Excited to try the rest of their menu (:
