We went for restaurant week. The service was on point with the unlimited small plates flowing constantly to our table. The food was delicious with the hangar steak and potatoes being an amazing gourmet taste of home. The salmon was so fresh and well cooked it didn't come off as fishy. Nothing was bad only one or 2 things were just good but not special. Do your self a favor book an all you can eat brunch and enjoy a taste experience.

Food is so great. First time in the restaurant and the food was delicious. They kept bringing more and more of it as part of the experience brunch.

I've been a fan of Ambar for many years, so I was a bit sad that I wouldn't have it around the corner when I moved out of the state. BUT I often visit and I was so happy to be able to come back for brunch. However, it was a huuuuge letdown. I made a reservation for a party of 2 for New Years day brunch about 1.5 weeks before, specifically requesting to sit a booth. Upon arriving, the hostess was extremely rude. I told him I had a reservation, he proceeded to tell me he couldn't find my reservation, began walking away from me and seated my friend and I in the bar area. When he brought us to the table, I told him I made a reservation and requested to sit in a booth. He then told me the room was fully booked & couldn't seat me in the dining area, I had no reservation and booths were only for larger parties. So it was either I had to sit in the bar area or at the bar. So my friend & I just sat in the bar area. About 10 minutes after we sat down, we already received some food. I got a call from Ambar (I'm assuming the manager) asking if I was coming because they were holding my booth. I then told her we were already there and eating and she apologized & graciously moved us to my originally requested booth. On top of the rude hostess (thank goodness for the manager), the service was really slow. Also, the food options just seem to be typical breakfast food. I used to go to Ambar because they had different food & meat pies (which I would pay $35 just to eat all night). But they got rid of the meat pies, the menu isn't anything unique and all the food came out luke warm or cold. I also thought it was a ripe off to charg...
