Ambiance: mysterious, dark interiors with aesthetically pleasing decor. Small but impactful. Service: we went on a Monday night so it wasn't packed, they had happy hour till 8:30pm. Waitress was attentative and sweet Food: We liked the crab and chicken fried rice and lamb chops. Flavorful and well cooked. We did not like the badMaash wings (too dry), samosas (tasted more like empanadas, lacks salt), flatbreads we're just okay.

I'm tempted to give this a 2 star, but our waitstaff was SOOOOO nice. I can't believe how sweet she was, she deserves to work in a better place, to be quite honest. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was above average either. The ambience is too dark, dingy, a bit rustic bohemian, if you will... probably a lot of people's vibe, but not mine. The price is a tad high for the food... not going back.

Came here for HRW brunch & was pretty disappointed! - Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot - Gorgeous exterior with cute outdoor seating; very cool door perfect for photo-opps! - Ordered ceviche which was crazy small portions but quite fresh. Fish was citrusy & yummy. Would order again. Brussels were also good. - Chicken strip sandwich with gangnam sauce was very disappointing. The chicken strips tasted like something you could get at H-E-B or a regular deli in a supermarket; the bun tasted cheap and the fries weren't spectacular. I felt like I could easily make this at home. Only perk was the free mimosa that came with the meal. Otherwise, Ambrosia was a restaurant I was looking forward to most during HRW but it was definitely disappointing! An additional star for our waitress, who was very sweet and often checked in on us. I would not return for the food.
