Amorino in Houston

Amorino Gelato seems to be the go-to dessert place to visit in the River Oaks area. If you are trying to impress a date or a tiny human, take them here. The gelato is top-notch, and the flower pattern is a visual bonus. They also have pastries if you don't enjoy ice cream. I'm not sure if the cones are made in-house or not, but it was the perfect texture of firm and crispy. It wasn't too sweet but not bland. In terms of price point, some people would argue that it's pricey, but you would pay about the same or more for ice cream at the movie theater. I think it's reasonably priced for flavors, textures, and quality that you get it.

Amazing, the gelato is so soft and taste delicious! Price is good too! No more than $5! I would definitely be coming again soon

Amorino Houston, TX (River Oaks) Tarimasu Milkshake Price: $7.69 Taste: When I think of tarimasu I always imagine a strong coffee taste,  because that's what I've experienced in the past. The taste here fell flat. I was slightly disappointed for an Italian place. Consistency: Great blend with just the right amount of resistance I look for. The cookie piece were able to successfully pass through my straw. Whipped cream was applied fine. Quality of Service: Very Italian feel restaurant with nice servers. Once I order my milkshake the lady that took my order begin putting it together. She first went to what looks like an espresso machine to retrieve the milk, then she got the scoops of tarimasu gelato. The mixing commenced and I could tell she was getting a good blend.
