I usually love going to Anaba because their prices for rolls are far more decent than any other sushi place in Knoxville. The rolls aren't terrible but they aren't great or anything I would brag about either. However, I will no longer be dining at this restaurant after today. I was really craving some ramen so I called and ordered take out. When I arrived home I realized half of my meal was missing so I called and explained it to them. The ramen was hard and I was missing broth as well. I called and asked for a new one so that I wouldn't have to microwave anything and my noodles would be fully cooked. You'd think a restaurant would be more than happy to remake your food if it is unsatisfactory. However, they were not. The woman on the phone told me I can come pick up the broth and that was it. After driving twenty minutes to downtown and twenty minutes back home I really didn't feel like making another almost hour trip just to pick up some broth that I would then have to go home and heat my whole meal up with. I would recommend going to Nama for sushi because the quality is better but it is a bit more expensive. If you're looking for some ramen high gravity tavern is always good but I don't think they open until the evening.

The tofu dishes are so good, loved having so many options as a vegetarian. Lots of great sushi rolls as well for a very good price. We enjoyed going early in the day and missing the dinner crowd- only people in the place which was great for us. My husband enjoyed his gyoza very much.

There's a few sushi places in the area and all of them are so so; I'd rate the sushi here about the same. While both the girls and the speed in which my two rolls came out were fantastic, the food fell a little short of a two thumbs up rating.
