No Tacos Here, Only Mexican Pastries. I don't understand all of these reviews touting tacos from here. Some of their bakeries have a dining area along with food. This is not one of them though. Just returned from there with several friends who wanted to try their tacos de pastor. The lady at the counter was very nice, but said that they serve menudo on Sunday and sell tamales but that this was only a bakery. Another patron directed us to another location of Anakaren which is located on Mansfield-Webb Road. They served tacos, enchiladas and whole kit 'n' kaboodle. We ended up going there and I will have a review on that bakery as well. So not to have a trip to this bakery be a total loss, I purchased several pastries here: some marenitos, a couple of custard-filled pastries and a few cuernitos. Having been to several other Anakaren Bakeries in Fort Worth, I was aware of their quality. Not overly sweet and freshly baked each morning. These were no different. I love all of the Anakaren Bakeries that I've been to. Give them a try, won't you?
