Great place for a good Italian food, some items are little overpriced!

Angelo's is easy to overlook when planning to eat out. A mainstay in Alhambra for as long as I can remember, it has all the typical dishes you'd expect in family style Italian restaurant. I enjoy their ravioli as well as their hot sandwiches, which are hearty and reasonably priced. One of my favorites is the meatball sub. The portions here are generous so as you won't go hungry. My family and I enjoy this local restaurant, and the staff are friendly and courteous.

4/19/2019 I called Angelo's Italian restaurant & pizzeria in Alhambra Ca. around 3:35 to place a pick up order Jumbo pizza half deluxe half pepperoni. My son Andrew was picking it up on his way home from work. When he got home I opened the box and half of the crust was burned when I grabbed a slice the bottom of the pizza was burned not just a little it was charred. I've been ordering pizza from here for year's and never had a problem. We would have returned it but we live in Diamond bar traffic at that time is horrible. Quality of the pizza was bad for 45.$ Pizza cook should've remade it, but I guess they dont care about the quality of the pick up pizza as much as the pizza they serve to dine-in customer's.
