I love, love, love Anthony's; however, tonight was the most disappointing visit ever. We headed to our local Anthony's; and as appetizing as everything looked, I was truly disappointed. We went for the Early Bird dinner and I had the Trout which was totally flavorless and ill seasoned; never an issue in the past...very sad. I was offered the salmon ( a must have), but I have been a long time fan of the Trout...so... I stuck with it because I hate wasting food; something drilled into me as a child about African children,...

Very good visit at Anthony's. This was a birthday dinner and could not have been better. We made a reservation because it was Saturday night. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated within 5 minutes. We scored a two top that was arranged in the curve of the glass wall which gave us more room and took us out of the main path. Everyone was friendly and our server especially so. We ordered everything at once and she spaced it out accordingly. We had the ahi tuna tacos which was on tarot chips with ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce. The presentation was a little plain but I don't eat presentation. The tuna poke was fresh and flavorful. We both had Caesar salads which were pretty run off the mill but still good. I like a potent Caesar dressing and anchovies but maybe they do that on request. For main dishes we had the big eye tuna steak with rice pilaf and green beans with some kind of fruit based salsa and a macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi and coconut shrimp. I don't know what they did to the green beans but they were really good. I got the tuna rare and it was perfect. The piece I had was very dense and it was difficult to cut with a fork but luckily I had a knife at the ready. I would say it was between 4-6 ounces which was plenty for how rich it was. As far as drinks go the wife had two lemon drops with grey goose vodka. Beware of the $3.95 up charge for the premium sprits. That put each drink just under $14 each. The salads were an extra $8 apiece which is about what restaurants charge. Gone are the days of a salad being part of the meal. Everything like that is n...
