Great cocktail drinks and food. We came here with our puppy and were able to get a table outside and enjoy our cocktail drinks and caramel popcorn. The ambiance was great and a fire was lit outside which made it even more comfy. Overall, great experience. There was a line when we arrived but it moved quite quickly.

Highlight of our Asheville trip. In a beer town, there aren't a plethora of cocktail bars, but this one is really the only one ya need! From outside to inside, the whole place feels like a trendy english bar. Something about it just felt very London-esque. Moody, dimly lit, romantic, this bar transports you to another time and place. We got seated on the second floor which was lovely and felt very quiet and private with a fun view over the bannister of the bottom floor. It was rainy and dark so we couldn't take advantage of the balcony or rooftop. The only thing about the second floor is you have to go down to the bar to order drinks every time. The cocktails are booze-forward, pre-prohibition style with lots of gin and whiskey options. We loved it so much, we wanted to come back...

Antidote is cool. Out of all the places we visited in Asheville, Antidote was the one that rocked class like a boss feeling sweetly vintage. It is tall, stately, and from an era lost to time. It is just cool. We had a brief wait for a table and then was seated a four top on the first floor across the bar. I was a bit surprised there was no table service. The bar is roped off with one point of contact to order drinks. That left something to be desired and I am not sure if that is typical or if that was the case because of the then covid restrictions. Either way that was my one point of contention because there was always a tightly packed line for drinks and then someone would deliver the drinks. Regardless while impersonal the drinks were fantastic. There is a large cocktail menu and an impressive list of spirits. It has an incredible vibe that makes up for the impersonal feel. It was fantastic in that regard!
