Good food. Steak in fajitas and burrito came in big chunks... Would prefer them to be smaller. Only had a butter knife to cut the chunks up. Server / bartender (Ate in bar area) was great!

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant after a long day of shopping at the Fox Valley Mall. Not being from the area, we really didn't have an idea of good Mexican restaurants in the area, but, we were staying close and Antojitos Mexicanos received high ratings. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was boisterous, which gave us hope that the food was great. (If the restaurant was quiet with few customers, we likely would have had other thoughts.) I was impressed by the breadth of the menu and the side dishes. There was a lot to choose from that goes beyond your typical Mexican fare. I ordered the Hawaiian burrito with Chipotle sauce, with grilled cactus as my side. The Hawaiian burrito was good, but the the flavor was taken away a bit by the heat of the Chipotle sauce. I didn't expect it to be so hot (and I typically like spicy food). The grilled cactus -- which I've never had before -- was good, and reminded me and my wife of green beans. My wife, who ordered a combination plate, was very complimentary of the food, which included two enchiladas and a chimichanga. We both got margaritas -- her a crushed ice, fruit flavored and me a straight up, on-the-rocks. Her's was over filled and spilled all over the table when it arrived, and mine was incredibly strong.
