Maybe I don't understand the concept of a food truck. I thought you pay, get your food and go and enjoy it. After forty-five minutes and four trips back and forth to the truck I finally got my full order of a pabellon bowl, three empanadas and a drink. The truck was parked in our condo lot and it was an opportunity for them to get some new customers. The food was really good but too much hassle to get it.

I finally caught up to the food truck on Monday and I must say I am a huge fan. I got the beef patacon and i'm still salivating today. I can't until the truck is in my area.

Incredible food. Just be mindful not everything gels with American taste buds, but for the adventurous it's a great menu of rare flavors I've not seen around NoVA before. The patacon, with their mashed plantain "buns" are so tasty and work with most any filling they offer really well. The chicken empanadas w/ dipping sauce are packed with meaty flavor and the shell well fried, lightly sweet and mouth watering.
