This is the first time I come here with my family and as I was eating the falafel sandwich, there was a HAIR STUCK IN THE FALAFEL WRAP. I asked for a full refund of $80 because I had my 4 children with me so I’m not sure what they ate! She just refunded me $7.95 for the wrap. So I don’t embarrass them in front of other customers, I waited till I got home to call them and the owner said she would only refund me for the sandwich! She also shut in my face after I told her I’d leave a bad review! A Very disrespectful Owner!

Yummmmy! Houstonians are blessed with delicious Mediterranean food that is familiar to Armenians, Arabs, Turks, Greeks, Persians...and home to everyone in general. We mainly came by to check out the Phoenicia grocery store and find ingredients here that we wouldn't normally find in local American stores, until we realized we were hungry and stopped at Arpi's Phoenicia Deli first. It's a little hidden as you need to walk past the new Toasted Yolk Café next door around the corner, where you'll find the beautiful entrance decorated with leaves around the fence dome. We got in line to order our shawarma sandwiches, sides and drinks. SHAWARMA PITA WRAPS 4/5: We ordered the chicken and the beef with everything in it, including onions, greens, tomatoes, potatoes, tahini (sesame butter) and other goods. I think the quality of the chicken and the beef was okay, but the wraps tasted significantly better with a slather of the garlic mayonnaise and some tahini. YOGURT DRINK 5/5: "Tahn" for Armenians and "doogh" for Persians. Delicious, as always. #teammint BABAGANOUJ 4/5: Topped with olive oil and some zatar seasoning. Yummy with the wraps, fries, pita bread (provided for free at one of the stations). LEMON & ZATAR...
