Atitlan in Webster

I've tried this place twice and just don't care for it.  Last time I had a "hot dog," a torta with lettuce mounded over sliced sausage and doused with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise.  Why did I pick such a mess? Because I like Nobi's hot dog.  Well this was terrible.

PLEASE STOP AND READ We went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch, We ordered several items from the menu (we had been to this place several times before); however yesterday was horrible. The food was disgusting, they could careless about how disappointed we were with our meals. To top this, when we requested our check, nothing added up. The prices of every meal was different from the ones on the menu. We complained and the server did nothing about it. We were so upset about this that we just left the money and left. To the owner of this place, you should feel embarrassed about how you are managing you restaurant. You lost one loyal customer. We used to come to this a lot.

I've been on a procrastination review vacation but it's time to get back on it. I had an interesting experience at this self proclaimed Guatemalan food spot. I ordered 3 street tacos and 1 Torta to go. There was only one other couple sitting down eating in there while I was waiting on my food. The name of this particular video is BEST STREET TACOS IN HOUSTON? STREET TACO WARS. Ok enough with the plugging. I ate the pork and the steak taco first and was pleasantly satisfied with both. The only thing that threw me off was the street taco have what appear to be a flat bread instead of a corn tortilla. I've never seen this before. Maybe it's a Guatemalan thing but I don't think so. Are there better street tacos in the area? Yes. They are still good solid tasting street tacos. They come with the standard lime to make it rain on them. The onions were grilled which was a nice touch. Moving on to the Torta. I have to be honest with you on this one. This might be the first Torta I've ever tried so take this part of the review with some skepticism. The best was I can describe it is by calling it a Mexican sandwich. It w...
