Au Bon Pain in Richmond

I truly enjoyed my encounter and service here, I come in often with my supervisor for a quick stop in between our work day. The greeting and services received from Deborah (I believe that is her name) is patient and knowledgeable. She is welcoming and actually suggested some good choices for us to eat. In a fast pace environment it is hard to keep up with all the college students and keep a positive attitude but she did!! This place is highly recommended and hope to see Ms. D again. We have an au bon pain in New York and it reminds me so much of home.

Do not mobile order your food. I paid for my two swipes of food and only ended up getting Mac and cheese. I asked one of the workers about my food in the nicest way possible, because I was waiting for 30 minutes, and she had the biggest attitude. I ended up leaving without getting my sandwich, two chip bags, and a drink because I was not about to be treated disrespectfully for simply asking a question. Definitely disappointed because I felt like I was the inconvenience.

Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. The head over the establishment on West Grace street, is not professional and gets hot headed very quick. I simply ask if there were any lids to fit my soup, she said yes and gave me one and it still didn't fit. Then I ask if I can pour it into a different cup and still pay for a large, since there aren't any lids. She says no you can't, I ask the other employees ( remind you they are just talking, not working) they said I could. She says WHY YOU ASK DEM AND I JUST TOLD YOU! I say ma'am you can take it down with the attitude and articulate your words better. She says "I ain't got a attitude, you not listening"... "said  that we ain't go no lids for the small or medium the lids there in the soup section don't fit". I said now ma'am you did not state that and that doesn't correspond with my question before of where the LARGE LIDS ARE, so ma'am there are large lids for my soup. So I dont have to pour anything, I just need a lid. She said yea u got a medium cup... ( now people, mind you I had a large cup). ( AT THIS POINT IM READY TO GO CAUSE SHE WAS ACTING SLOW).
