Love love this place.  Food was pretty authentic and go for the HH and just eat the apps.  The drink specials were good too.

This is not traditional Vietnamese food at all. Lol. I had never been here before, and after an exhausting night out, my friend dragged me here. He told me that their wings are to die for and that we had to order some. He called in and placed an order for two orders of wings and two orders of fries. We had drunkenly stumbled from Grimes' nightclub, and my friend was so excited for these wings that he was literally dragging me. Although my friend was annoyingly intoxicated, the host was really lovely about it. The wings were delicious, and I would be back for them. After another drunken night out, all of my friends stumbled here once again to get food since it's open late. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and I don't know how they could call it that. The ingredients inside were random things that you wouldn't find in a traditional bun ho hue, the protein was nonexistent, the noodles were slim to none, and the broth was grainy. I couldn't even finish it and passed it over to my friend. Overall really nice atmosphere, pricey food, but I would only ever come back for the wings.

Ba Bar has a couple of vegetarian options, including their rice paper appetizer, vermicelli noodles, and their vegetable pho with vegetarian broth. My friend and I ended up ordering a few drinks (the moscow mule is delicious and their frozen wine drink - which might have been the cocktail of the day - tasted like lychees, so if you can clutch that in the summer definitely do). Their rice paper appetizer was really unique since most Vietnamese places have fresh spring rolls, but this appetizer was super unique, as it was crispy and warm. Additionally, the pho here has excellent vegetable broth, and flavorful mushrooms. It was weird that we had to ask for sriracha and hoisin and it didn't come with the pho, but they definitely have it just incase you don't see it come with your pho. The only off-putting thing about the pho for me personally was the baby celery stems, but if you're...
