Bad Piggy BBQ in Albany

Everything we ate was amazing! Ordered brisket sandwich with sloppy top (cole slaw on the sandwich!), brisket was tender with a great smoky flavor and loved getting it with the sloppy top. Sloppy top optional though and instead you can get the cole slaw or a different side on the side. Also tried the pulled chicken sandwich, chicken was juicy and the BBQ sauce had great flavor. Potato salad side and corn bread were great as well. Even the pickles on the side were outstanding, had a nice crunch and fresh dill flavor.    Great location in Galleria 7, perfect for a group if people are interested in different cuisines but I recommend everyone try Bad Piggy!

I've yet to find stellar BBQ in New York's Capital Region. Which is why my resolution to eat less meat hasn't been that difficult to uphold. Until now. The brisket (my favorite type of Q) was tender, juicy, and crusted with a smokey, flavorful bark. I also enjoyed the sweet, spicy bite of the barbecue sauce that came with it, and I'm happy to say the sauce was a lovely complement, not a necessity due to lack of moisture or flavor in the meat. I also enjoyed the collards, although their vessel in my to-go bag meant the greens were swimming in their broth (not a bad thing, just not my preference). Just enough salt, and great flavor from the smoked turkey, though. And THANK YOU, Bad Piggy, for believing in moist, fresh corn bread. Seriously, thank you.

I love BBQ. I had pulled pork and my wife had the brisket. Both were awesome we brought more brisket to take home. I will return.
