I have been been coming here for a long time and preaching how good the bagels are. After a less than satisfactory visit last week (the first time I was able to get my daughter to come out with me), the owner reached out to us to give them another try. Very glad we did. My daughter and I both agree they are the best bagels we have tried EVER. We have been to staples like NY Bagel Shop on Hillcroft and other places of the like, so we know what we are talking about. I was told about Bagel Bob's from the purveyor I buy my sourdough bread from at my local farmers market. They are hands down the best bagels I have found here in Houston! Bob has a range of various bagel flavors and an assortment of different cream cheeses. There is a small deli menu offering breakfast sandwiches and sliced meats. Bob is very passionate about his bagels and the high quality of ingredients he uses to make his bagels. Even if you have to drive a bit to his location, you will not be sorry! He is a somewhat recent New York transplant, so glad he choose Htown!

Plain cream cheese is delicious as well. I need to go back and try a sandwich and a black and white cookie. "Look to the blac...
