Baggy's Grill in Houston

We could not find alot of places open at 7am in this area so we ended up here and the breakfast was perfect. I had the Greek avacado toast and it was just what I wanted. I will be back.

I was looking for a lunch and coffee break place. I found it here. It was a Saturday afternoon. It was empty. I was not sure how crowded here is during busy weekdays. I ordered a cheap taco for $6. I got coffee for $2. They were great. A server asked me for one more coffee.I asked him"  Is it free? "Now, I can get it. LOL. This is a great lunch place!

My spouse and I invited our guests from the Palmetto State  to lunch with us at Baggy's Grill, yesterday, October 22.  Originally, we were looking for a place along the Greenway Restaurant Row on Richmond.  But, we hate the lunch hour scrum there, the lack of parking, the indifferent service which are often the norm. Baggy's Grill, off the beaten track, with free garage parking, a secluded outdoor option and with space between the tables and a multi-generational family of gracious hosts was perfect. As older people, we have strong preferences for what we eat.  The menu is extensive and varied.  My spouse loved her Greek Salad. my cousin selected the Greek Burger--a generous beef patty paired with iconic giro meat.  His spouse chose one of their signature omelet plates.  I chose a guilty pleasure--a Texas-sized chicken-fried steak.  The sides were simple and we'll prepared. Baggy's chefs prepare everything from scratch and to order.  No steam tray assembly line preparation or half-cooked meat waiting finishing.  We were kept informed about the ETA, and when our lunch arrived, as ordered, attractively plated, with more than ample portions, we were all delighted.  Though the dining rooms were busy, we were not rushed to finish so the table could cleared for someone else.  Nice place to spend time with old friends, speak in a conversational tones and enjoy a great meal, reasonably priced.  Baggy's Grill is a jewel!
