We placed an order for carne asada and got chips and salsa. When we called the restaurant the restaurant we were told only 1 person was there which was a lie because we called earlier when the order was placed and a different person answered. They take absolutely no care in preparing the food or checking to make sure it's correct. We will NEVER give our business to this place again.

Tried this for the first and last time today. Wasnt thrilled with large steak fries for carne asada fries nothing wrong but never seen that before. I ordered two bandito orders the description was "1/4 pound bacon burger" which I specified in the notes to leave plain. I also put in the notes at the end of the order to PLEASE READ NOTE ON BURGERS and they did not. I was sent a burger with onions peppers and cheese. No bacon. Not plain. Kind of a big deal because my boyfriend is allergic to bell peppers and they weren't listed on the description. The mango Fresca we got tasted like water and Ajax. Uber offered no compensation which is the least of my concern i just want to voice what happen so further training can be asked for and maybe a look at your uber eats menu set...

I moved to New Mexico almost two years ago. I've basically been on an odyssey to try as much of the local restaurants as I can. Albuquerque has a ton of great places but Bandido Hideout is my favorite.I've eaten here probably 15 times and still haven't really gotten through most of the menu because I have a few favorites I've come back to several times. Tonight I had the beef enchiladas with red chile and good god they were great. The cilantro was an unexpected but amazing touch to the flavor profile of the dish.My favorite thing I've had here is the full tilapia drowned in an extremely spicy red chile sauce. I went to bed sweating that night but it was unbelievably good. The food here isn't pretentious. It's very honest food with an equally honest presentation.I can't wait until corona is gone so I can go back in person. If you're debating ordering from here, just do it. But don't order something you'd get from a nation chain mexican restaurant. Be adventurous. At Bandido Hideout, it really pays off.Edit: Also the guy in the second newest review from me gave Golden Pride a bad review so that should really say something about the type of person that doesn't enjoy Bandido.
