Delicious Mexican/New Mexican cuisine on the South Side! Mama’s tacos are a no brainer, the chips trio (salsa, guac, and queso) is to die for…. and highly recommend the Frito Pie…. 11/10.

The food is so savory.

Highlights: - Kind of what you expect for "New Mexican" food, with some good vegetarian and vegan options - Nice interior if you're looking to sit down and hang around for a bit - Had to justify when there's great alternatives all around you Bang Bang kitchen serves classic upscaled Mexican dishes in all ways: the food descriptions, the presentation and the price. Such basics like Huevos Rancheros will run you $13, but their ability to serve dishes like their Bang Bang Burrito and Mama's tacos to vegans give them a bit more flexibility in their target audience. Overall, not a bad place if you're looking to get some people together and hang out for a while, especially if you've got dietary restrictions. But if you're just looking for really tasty Mexcian food, there's many better options around the neighborhood that I would recommend ahead of Bang Bang Kitchen.
