One word: YUM!!! My fiancé and I really enjoyed our dining experience at Barca Pier & Wine Bar today. It was an incredibly hot day and we were eating at the pier... whew! But what really did it for us was the service, our server Rebekah was phenomenal!!! She made sure our glasses were filled with water and that we had a nice cold drink in our hands at all times, gotta stay hydrated in that heat!! She came to check on us at the perfect times and had the best recommendations of food for us!!! We ordered the Croquetas (fried ham and cheese), Papas Bravas, Red Pepper dip, and the Gambas (shrimp). Pictures coming with the review (we received 5 croquetas, but I took a picture after we already dug in... oops! And the shrimp is also not pictured because we were excited to dig in as well!) We were so impressed with the servings, much bigger than your typical small plates!! Between the two of us we were able to share 4 plates and had plenty of food. It was all delicious!!! The drinks were great too! I ordered a passion fruit frojito and it was so yummy!!! My fiancé had a couple beers which he was also very happy with. Overall if you take away anything from this review, the food was great, being on the water was wonderful, and the service was fantastic! I'd come to this establishment again in a heartbeat!!!!
