This is my favorite place to eat, period. Such a variety of menu options and drinks and absolutely everything is good. The fish? Good! The burgers? Scrumptious! The sandwiches? Fantastic!! Do yourself a favor and go here, you’ll love it and find yourself going back again and again and ordering something new every time.

When I arrived, I was a little disappointed they didn't have a breakfast menu, but our server Charleton helpfully recommended the apple pie to go with my coffee, a great choice! They give you a huuuge portion of pie and Ice cream. The crust is flakey and buttery, and the ice cream was way better than bluebell. The food came out quickly and they had a heater outside ready for us to sit down.

I worked at an office that was a short drive from Barnaby's Cafe so I grabbed some takeout for lunch on a weekday. Barnaby's is a healthy-eating new American restaurant with several locations in Houston. The Voss location is tucked away on a side street and is a cool place to hang during non-Covid times. I ordered the tuna burger with fries. First off, I love tuna. I don't have it often but when I do, it's a treat. One important thing about a tuna steak is that you must cook it correctly. That means a light sear on the top and the bottom and you're set. It's quick but your tuna should be rare and red in color beyond the sear. The burger came with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and a remoulade since which had a little kick to it and paired quite nicely with my seafood burger. I was also impressed with the seasoned fries both in terms of taste and the portion. The fries were a meal in itself! Service was friendly as I picked up my order. Barnaby's is always a good choice!
