Delicious orange chicken, and great portions

Went to the restaurant for pickup; not the cleanest establishment. That being said, I didn't have high expectations for my Pad Thai and Papaya salad, and spring rolls. The salad and spring rolls were surprisingly fresh and went beyond my expectations. Pad Thai was basically like any other Thai place: basic.

**10% off discount when you check in!** Came here the other day in search of some food to soak up a mild hangover :) in all honesty, I meant to go to Pho Viet Anh down the street, but had a rude awakening when I found that the door was locked and they've moved to Belltown! I knew they were moving but had no idea it would be so soon (cue tragic violin music). You heard it here first, look up their new location before you make the same mistake I did! Anyways, I had always wanted to try Basilic Essentially Thai so in I went. Upon arriving, I was surprised by how spacious it was inside. There is TONS of seating but none outside. They have cute booths right by the windows so you can look out and do some people watching. At first, I wasn't sure I was even going to be seated. I waited for about 10 minutes before peeking my head around the corner and trying to get someone's attention. It was strange because there was only one table occupied in the entire restaurant. I suppose they couldn't hear me because the place is so big? It was a strange way to start off my meal...I even considered calling them on the phone because I wasn't sure what else to do. Finally, the hostess came and met me at the entrance. She was very friendly and told me to pick wherever I wanted to sit, and then brought me ice water and menus. I usually go for Pad See Ew but decided I wanted a rice dish instead. I ended up getting Pineapple  Fried Rice with tofu, and a coconut juice (we love our electrolytes). The fried rice was AMAZING and quite honestly the best one I've eve...
