Horrible food!As a NOLA born and raised resident. Skip the beighnets. They are fried in the same oil as the seafood and have a VERY fishy flavor and taste nothing like Beighnets from New Orleans. If I could give a negative star I would. But, it doesn't go that low. The sandwhichs are horrible too.The food and drinks are ridiculously expensive. You also get charged one price on the receipt and then they put a hold on your bank for $7.50 more than the actual charge on the receipt. Save your money and skip this place.

I am editing this review due to lack of time to adequately right a description of my experience. The Cafe was relatively clean but food did not look appetizing, prices were high. $ 3.00 for a small bag of chips..My family ordered the Beignets and unfortunately 2 family members had gastric distress right after eating there.I do not like giving bad reviews but I also feel it's not right to let others know of our experience. It's a nice atmosphere but quality of food needs a lot of improvementsBeignets are HORRIBLE.

I do NOT eat at the Kemah Boardwalk as a general rule. It is the ruin of the quaintness that used to be the Kemah Seabrook Area. You know, general principals and all that. Well so My wife had to go to the Boardwalk for a field trip today. She decided to get food from Bayside Grille. She quickly regretted it. She ordered (what she thought) was a bowl of clam Chowder soup. It took her awhile to get someone to take her order as the staff was busy prefrying chicken nuggets and wrapping something (Cuban Sandwiches?). Finally they noticed her as she was the only one there and took her order. The Soup cost $7.00 and for that, you would expect a nice big bowl of Clam Chowder. My wife did. Several minutes later in stead of a bowl of soup, she was given a bag. In the back was a small plastic container with Soup and some crackers. She said the soup was clearly from a can (Sysco Clam Chowder?) and the crackers were stale. Needless to say she was not happy. But really, that bowl of soup is very representative of the Kemah Boardwalk. From the pictures and description, it looks really good, but when you get down to it, there really is not much there and you are going to pay a lot for it. They do that from the moment you arrive, charging too much money for parking on the weekends. I will go to Red Lobster long before I will go to the Boardwalk. There are plenty of smaller places to eat near by with better food, free parking and no B.S. I will go to those places. They need the business, Tillman does not.
