Today's local favorite is in South Knoxville, located off of John Sevier Highway, in between Chapman Highway & Alcoa Highway.  The name is Bi-Lo Market, and lemme tell you, this place rocks! Once you walk into this gas station deli, you feel welcome, as it has been around since 1983, and majority of the staff have been working here for decades. If you remember Smoky Mountain Market Deli from years and years ago, you remember one thing - their hot dogs.  Bi-Lo Market has the best chili dogs in town!  They also have a variety of deli sandwiches along with some delicious cheeseburgers.  If you are in the area for breakfast, Ricki makes a mean "Loaded Hashbrown," with peppers, onions, bacon, sausage, cheese, eggs, and gravy - it's a must try!!   If y'all find your way down John Sevier Highway then go check this delicious deli out and go see my girls. This is another place added to my list of Knoxville's Best.  Dine-in, or...

I notice each time I trek through, more and more delis have closed and finding good ones has become harder and harder. Once upon a time this spot was a good out of the way deli that I knew I could count on when I was leaving or coming into town. My most recent visit however left much to be desired. I ordered Ruebens on dark the way they make 'em, no substitutions. The bread wasn't dark. It was wheat. Wheat bread on a Reuben?! Gag! The meat? Meh. The sauerkraut? Canned cheap stuff! The service is very brusk, don't expect...
