Bill's Beer Garden is a fun outdoor area housed in the parking lot of the Downtown Home & Garden store on Ashley in Ann Arbor. They have a time lapse video on their website that shows the process of changing it from an empty parking lot to this bustling beer garden. Pretty cool and a great use of space. Nate and I arrived right after they opened on a Saturday, and the whole area was full within half an hour. This was during the summer months, so I'm sure it gets super packed during the school year. There is a lot of shared seating as well as some smaller cocktail tables where you can stand with your drink. They check IDs at the gate and you must be 21+ to enter (or a kid with a legal guardian).
