I had this place bookmarked for a visit (but can't remember why) and was in the area last weekend so I stopped by for lunch. Currently there is road construction going on directly in front of the restaurant and there is parking in front and on the sides of the building. The sign says "since 1945" and looking at the building I believed it. Inside it's one small room with a long bar with stools and a few tables with chairs. It has an old bar vibe to it with many old baseball hats stapled to the walls along with a few lighted beer signs. However there were no visible beer coolers or taps. I guess they keep the beer either in the back or under the bar. The only drink dispenser I saw was an iced tea container. The floor is not level and slanted towards the front door.
