We wandered over to Bill's for the first time, hoping for some local color and a nice meal. The sign said to seat yourself, so we occupied the empty table in the far right corner. After a while this tall lanky dude lumbers up to us and SLAPS down a couple of drink coasters on the table and barks "Whaddya want to drink?" I'm thinking he's trying to project a "personality" here but it's not really working. I checked the menu again, looking for the list of drinks. Before my husband could say "iced tea," he barks at us, "Brew list is on the wall" and motions up to the top of the wall directly BEHIND me, where I can't read it without getting out of my seat and standing up. Then he saunters off. At that point I wish we would have simply walked out, but we were tired and hungry. When he returns, I ask if there are cocktails available. "BEER AND WINE," he barks. Okay, fine. Two iced teas then, I'm not in the mood for this crap. My spinach salad was mostly just a plate full of grocery store-grade spinach, barely any of the other things that are listed in the salad, and my request for grilled chicken on the salad got me a few thinly-sliced, bland, cold strips of unseasoned ch...
