This place a couple of years ago had some great food. Recently however it seems this has gone down hill. The service here is incredibly slow. The last 2 times I've been here it took me well over an hour from ordering to get my food. The restaurant was not busy And both times When the food arrived it was not great. The bottom of my burger bun was hard and stale and my breakfast biscuits were hard as a rock.The upsides: The Wait Staff are incredibly friendly! Very attentive. Very apologetic. And spread very thin. I feel so bad for themIt seems covid has really hit the quality of this place pretty hard. I truly hope they tightened up those...

Even with new staff, the Black Bear Diner crew consistently serves great food! I am very pleased to see they're open during the pandemic. What a better way to soothe the tummy with some good ole fashion food, Thank you Black Bear Diner!
