Loved the breakfast options. Lunch options are okay but not great. My opinion tho! Oh! And the strawberry mojitos

Burnt chicken fried steak and the salmon full of bones. What a disaster of a kitchen.Keep well away and have an ambulance on speed dial if you take a chance here. Definitely one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while.

I just came back from lunch here and WOW! The food was absolutely delicious! Pictured I have the Mexican street corn, garlic mashed potatoes, and the chicken pot stickers. Weird combination, but it WORKED! I used the pot sticker sauce to dip my mashed potatoes in and, let me tell you, heaven on earth! The patio is very nice as well. They have heaters so you can dine comfortably when it's a little chilly out. The way to order was to grab a menu and tell a cashier what you would like. They give you a pager and you pick where to sit. Drinks are self serve. They bring the food to your table. I have come here before and had the lobster eggs Benedict and my goodness... It's to die for. The mimosas are also so delicious, but dangerous lol. I did not get to enjoy one today since I am working, but would most certainly come brunch here to get my hands on one... or two. The manager, Mark, is a longtime friend of mine that used to manage a restaurant I served/bartended at. He's absolutely one of the best and I know that he runs a five star establishment. Black Walnut Cafe of Allen is lucky to have him! I will definitely be back when I'm in Allen for business!
