Laid back atmosphere, authentic cuisine, friendly staff... All in all a great place for casual dining.

First time to the Gettysburg location. Very pleasant atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. I had the guacamole which was very lime forward and somewhat spicy (for normal people I am immune) but not out of balance. Their home-made tortilla chips are sturdy and tasty.I had the Birria tacos which is a bit like the love child between a taco and a French dip. Good seasoning on the beef in the taco and a rich beefy au jus to dip. Very nicely made.My wife had a cheese quesadilla. She's less adventurous, but it was well made. The annatto rice in the side is just that, very plain, but properly cooked. The pico was fresh and bright. Overall a nice meal. Will definitely be back

When my wife and I first visited Blessing Restaurant in December 2021 we had a fantastic meal and overall experience. However, we returned with my in-laws when they were visiting in January and the experience was less than hospitable. Not only did the waitress tell us we would have to pay for extra tortilla chips but she also told us that they ran out of salsa. Five minutes later, she delivered a bowl of salsa to another table. However, the worst part was when I tried to pay with a 100 dollar bill the manager came to the table and proceeded to embarrass me by telling me that he was worried that the money was counterfeit and that they would not accept it. He explained that they did not have any way of verifying that the bill was genuine legal tender. A package of 4 counterfeit detection pens cost only 4.99 on Amazon. It’s a small cost to save your customers the embarrassment of refusing to accept their cash when they are spending 92.00 on one meal. As a result, I will never return to Blessing Restaurant again.
