Blue Moon Cafe in Ada

Ordered a fajita salad with beef and one with chicken the chicken wasn’t real chicken then ordered kids food she brought out plates for adults I thought I was ordering off kids men really not happy with service or food tonight

The food was great, my waitress was great. The fried green tomatoes was awesome.

Pathetic service from the manager. I ordered through DoorDash thinking I was getting a decent meal while supporting a local restaurant. This turned out to be the worst decision of our night. I ordered from the Blue Moon cafe this evening. My order included a full order of fried green tomatoes and an order fried mushrooms both of which are advertised to come with homemade ranch. I received my order and of course found no ranch in the packages. We took a bite of the tomatoes and they were very soggy and pasty and tasted like waterlogged fried squash. They flopped like a dead fish when we picked them up. The mushrooms were soggy and pasty tasting like they have been on the fridge shelf for a little too long and had a rough aftertaste that kicked you in the gut quickly. I called to the restaurant thinking they could quickly send someone 1700 feet to my hotel and satisfy the order and to help us make these things taste like they were from a clean and well functioning kitchen. The lady I spoke to was very kind and understanding. She asked if I would be willing to go there and pick them up. Unfortunately, we are not able to do so which is why we ordered delivery in the first place. The manager was NOT on the same page. I asked if they could just replace the two items on their next open day and the manager refused referring me back to DoorDash for a refund rather than welcome a new customer in and not treat them like they are trying to pull a fast one. All of this over some homemade ranch dressing. That's some classy business folks. And for food that is less than average compared to a fast food joint. I'm guessing they didn't need the business.
