i was pleasantly surprised by my first time checking out bluefin sushi! i ordered the rainbow roll and crazy salmon roll to share with my boyfriend. the rainbow roll was good, just what i had expected - but i was surprised by the crazy salmon roll! fresh salmon sashimi on the inside and seared salmon across the top?!?! *chef's kiss* we ordered through the yelp app & grubhub delivered in a timely manner. i was very satisfied with my experience!

Bluefin Sushi Thai is at the corner space next to Encinal Market. take out only offerings: sushi, sashimi, thai food, bento boxes eats: chirashi bowl lunch special (17.95) didn't have soup nor salad -16ish pieces over sweet tasting sushi rice (not the usual vinegared rice) that had undercooked particles. experienced some crunchiness -tamago, tuna, salmon, butterfish, orange color fillets, imitation crab fillets were marinated in some kind of sauce. *average quality, not a good value temaki: -should have gone for the bento box (12.95) better deal/value, maybe would have tasted better.
