This is my first Bolay experience and I'm impressed by the fresh choices. I enjoyed the taste of my regular Bolay bowl which had a kale base, roasted potatoes and sautéed zucchini as my 2 vegetable options and teriyaki chicken as my protein. I added, FOR A FEE, seasoned grape tomatoes .50$ and a 1/2 avocado 1.50$. Pros: loved the freshness and taste , especially my avocado. Cons: vegetable option are slim(6) ; I would have like a marinated chopped onion/ tomato selection and a sautéed red peppers as a choice. The option of corn as a vegetable choice cheapens the Bolay experience. Ginger broccoli is an option but I would have had to wait 3-4 minutes , as well as the shrimp option for protein. The wait is not a big issue and assures freshness but my lunch break is very limited and I couldn't wait . It's definitely a tasty lunch and I will return. Keeping my fingers crossed more included veggie options will be added.
