Loved it! My favorite Korean restaurant, and I'm Korean.

Best Korean food in va! Forget Annandale this spot is the truth! Plus prices are amazing and this little grandma and her son make everything fresh!  All the side dishes are like old country. Kimchi stew with pork is fire!! Seafood pan cake is best I've ever had! I'm in la and we have our own k-town with bunch of spots but wow on Bon Ga!

My former boss, a very nice Korean lady, took me here a couple of times more than a decade ago. Back in the days, all the yummy Korean restaurants were all in Long Point area, 'Little Korea'. More Korean restaurants popped up in Chinatown, so I no longer drive out to this area. However, I miss all the side dishes and Bon Ga always offers great variety. So I'm here mainly for the side dishes and bbq :) Came on a weeknight at 7 pm for dinner and the restaurant only had one table of guests. Note the signage on the restaurant is written in Korean but Bon Ga can be found on the shopping center sign. It's a bit tricky as I had a hard time finding it the first time (I don't speak/read Korean). We ordered bbq set 3 which had three different cuts of meat. The short ribs was tender and seasoned well. The other two were tasteless but side dishes helped to eat with the meat. Had ox knee soup which was creamy and you add salt based on your preference. Many side dishes and my favorite were cucumber, spicy pickled soy sauce radish and steamed egg. I had hot boricha (barley tea) and they offered sweet rice dessert at the end. Overall, a very satisfied meal!
