great place! yum yum sauce is very thin tho. otherwise very good. not busy at all on Sunday afternoon. crab puffs were 10/10. quiet and cozy.

I have been coming here for 15 years and it still hits the spot like no other! The combo fried rice with yum yum sauce is my go to, but everything is wonderful. Besides that, who else in Houston has two beautiful soft shell turtles, Kobe and Ninja, on display like Bonsai?What are you waiting for? I dare you to try this charming neighborhood restaurant. Bonsai is a gem.
