came here because of the good ratings. The service was alright, they don't offer substitutions on a very baisically menu, which isn't bad but when we got our food they made a mistake on it and everything tasted bland. Regret not just going to ihop down the street.

Bookstore Bar is the nicest person and her staff is extremely nice. I love this place and the food is home style, delicious, and fresh. I love the french toast and blueberry pancakes. Excellent prices and great service!

I have eaten at the Bookstore Bar & Cafe since at least 2015. The ambiance is great there, but when I saw the menu and tasted the food, I could tell that Chef Rivera was no longer there. The gnocchi had a decent pesto sauce, but the potatoes were tasteless and soggy. The duck sausage was good, but the menu choices are limited and are all over the place. There's curried lentils (not vegan because there's milk), clams, duck fettuccine, pork, salmon, steak and a burger. This seems like a res...
