Boulevard Burger and Brew in Richmond

Wonderful customer service and the food is a classic. It's a Richmond institution and rightfully so. The burgers are solid, great flavors and options. You should definitely try their milkshakes, cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.

Welcome to Boulevard Burger and Brew. The first thing I will admit is that if you are attempting to drive here from the city it can be a hard place to get to. Our first attempt ended in failure as traffic was just too intense to keep making all the turns that you need to make to get to this place. BUT on our second attempt on a Tuesday we go to 3B just fine. It was a slow time (3pm on a Tuesday) but we were greeted by the wonderful staff and seated immediately. I was first impressed by the beer and cider offering. They basically have everything local ... Virginia local on top of the usual suspects. While we waited we just kind of too the place in and it is a really neat environment and the music was perfect (note to self: turn on shazam while there or you will never remember all of the good music). Now to the food...it was pretty amazing. Nothing outside of the box (we got sliders) but i was really good and the fries were yummy too. When we left I told my husband there is just something about this place that works for me. Fast forward to a pandemic a few months later. We found ourselves ordering takeout to be delivered at home. 1. There was a really cute thank you note that made my heart just melt. 2. The food was wonderful. It was perfectly packaged and packaged for transport (meaning my food was all in place when it got to me). My recommendation is if you are looking for a great burger with a solid brew offering...this is your place~!
