Decided to have my lunch birthday celebration here with two other girlfriends as we have not tried this place and it was walking distance from the Marriott Marquis where I was staying at for the night. Parking is quite hard - there's the street option and parking lot which was either $5 or $10. The restaurant had a romantic vibe. I made reservations for three, which i highly recommend you do, just to secure a nice spot, though at that time, the restaurant was not busy so we were seated overlooking Discovery Green. I ordered Escargots De Bourgogne (Baked burgundy snails, fresh herb garlic butter) for my appetizer and Sole "Meunière" (Lemon sole, snow peas, fingerling potatoes, roasted cauliflower, caper brown butter) for my lunch entree. My friend got Gâteau De Crabe Crab cake with lump crab meat, tartare sauce, cilantro, radishes for her appetizer and Saumon Rôti (Roasted Atlantic salmon, cauliflower purée, wilted spinach, saba dressing) for lunch. And my other friend got the Salade Du Parc (spring mix, celery, carrots, shaved parmesan, cherry tomatoes, truffle dressing) for her lunc...

When I finally was acknowledged by the bartender, they just told me to go find a hostess in the dining room who ended up telling me to seat myself if the others in my part were already at the restaurant. Our server was very friendly. I can't say that the food was anything special. I really enjoy French food and can say that there are many other options in Houston at a similar price point that are way better. Escargots was good and so was the steak frites, however, the creme brûlée desert was definitely leaving something to be desired. They had a few good French wine options. We tried a couple different items of...
